The Crestwood Panthers are now the elder statesmen of amatuer baseball teams in the Chicago land area. The Panthers compete in one of the top 5 summer wood bat baseball league in the Nation. www.chicagosuburbanbaseballleague.org.
The Panthers returned to National Prominence in2007 with consecutive 3rd place finishes in the N.B.C. World Series.
The Panthers were led offensively by the likes of Kevin Wyman, Chris Stocker, Robert Ninfo,Mike Marshall, Bill Storrs Jr, Andrew Van Byssun and Matt Whitney in 2007. Freshmen hurlers Mitch Stubenhofer (Hutch C.C.), and Kevin Manson led a dynamic pitching staff in 2007.
The 2008 Spring saw many Panthers have great seasons. The success these young men have had should lead to another spectacular year of Crestwood Panthers Baseball.
The Panthers have players from all over the nation and our own backyard anxious to play ball, and hopefully finally bring home the Prestigious N.B.C. Title.
