The Crestwood Panthers are now the elder statesmen of amatuer baseball teams in the Chicago land area. The Panthers compete in one of the top 5 summer wood bat baseball league in the Nation. www.chicagosuburbanbaseballleague.org.
The Panthers finished in the top 12 in the nation for a team record seventh straight year at the 2008 N.B.C. World Series, and were one pitch, and one close call at the plate from finishing near the top.
The Panthers were led by Rob Elliot, Bill Storrs Jr, Marc Albano, Dan Atkenson, and Kevin Wyman. The Panthers are excited to have four of these five back for the 2009 season!
The Panthers have players from all over the nation and our own backyard anxious to play ball, and bring home the Prestigious N.B.C. Title to their trophy case!
